SEEK: Refractions  is a workshop focused on new media experimentation that took place in Tromsø from the 11th - 14th of January 2020. The theme of this special workshop was refraction -  a process which aptly describes the passage of these mediums - in this case through the lens of the proverbial film industry. Participants were invited to work in teams and explore, imagine and design ideas for the future of the film industry - against the backdrop of the 30th anniversary of the Tromsø International Film Festival.

Selected participants worked in teams to reflect, ideate and create conceptual prototypes of their ideas with the help of XR experts. The aim of the event was to generate innovative entertainment projects to be presented at the Festival where a jury will selected the best idea to be developed during the month of June.
